All Miami Dolphins fans had high hopes for the 2022 season, after the team finished last year with 10 wins and 7 losses. For the first time, they thought the team was going in the right direction.The enthusiasts congratulated the team's managements for their reforms to change the culture of the team and responded to their criticisms. They hoped the team wasn't too far away to play for a super bowl. For several years, Miami Dolphins never played in the NFL playoff for sometime and they hoped to see things change this season. On the contrary, the followers are inconsolable after the team lost five games only one victory.

Who is responsible for the weak performance of the Miami Dolphins? We'll start with general manager Chris Grier who coordinates all the changes necessary to improve the franchise. He made three mistakes that lead us here today. The first mistake, how he chooses player in the 2020-2021 NFL draft. In 2020 we knew the team needed a quarterback and there were two names that caught the attention of everyone. Tua Tagovailoa who played for the Alabama and Justin Herbert who played for the University of Oregon. Miami Dolphins selected Tua Tagovailao as the 5th overall in the 2020 NFL draft even thought he had a serious history of injuries. Justin Herbert had everything a quarterback needed to become a good player in the NFL. Miami Dolphins did not picked him. Today he's playing well, and he's likely to become a star in the NFL.

The 2nd mistake the Miami Dolphins made in the 2021 Draft. The front office did not choose an offensive Line to protect Q-B Tau Tagovialoa. They knew of his injuries and they failed to protect him. As a result, he got hit in the second game against the Buffalo Bills which caused him to sideline for tow games. When he returned to face the Jacksonville Jaguars the team lost 20 to 23. This defeat must be a wake up call to all Miami Dolphins diehard. The Jaguars are a team that lost 20 games since 2020. They are not a veery good team right now but they found a way to defeat the Dolphins. Tua played a nice game against Jaguars.

In 2020 NFL free agency, the Miami Dolphins signed players for two-years and it allowed the team to manage the rebuilding process smoothly. During the time those players were on the team, the Dolphins was one of the top defensive team in the NFL. The front office decided to let go those players and bring in cheap player in the draft. That was the reason for not addressing the offensive line and gave Tua the protection he badly needed. They needed a Running Back to help remove some of the pressure on the Quarterback. Something they could have addressed in the draft. As a result, they have a loosing record.
